Building on our series Little Things in Odd Shapes, we will tour performances to non-concert hall spaces which wouldn’t normally be able to offer high standard live performances to their communities. Some of these will be risograph printing studios, with which we aim to reach a completely new audience. Risograph printing is a unique process which is creative and often unpredictable in outcome. Not unlike historical performance, the instrument (the riso) plays a somewhat arbitrary role in the expression or product being generated. We will explore this unique relationship.

We have always been interested in creating unique experiences through our performances. For this tour we will incorporate a visual element using riso-printed publications and music/printing workshops. Each programme will have a little booklet which will also communicate the story being told on stage - centered around the musicians, composers and characters in our research.
