Mozart owned a pet starling and notated its songs. In this project, a new commission incorporating Mozart’s fragments will be combined with Purcell, Uccellini, Vivaldi, and Handel bird-inspired music for a participating audience of primary school children in years 1&2. Ensemble Augelletti are working with the VOCES8 Foundation to deliver this project and children from local state primary schools will be welcomed into the VOCES8 Centre for a bespoke workshop and concert.
