IT&T presents a programme of “music for music’s sake”, looking at the kaleidoscopic ways in which 17th-Century British composers including Purcell, Blow and Croft celebrated their own art. Joining the professional instrumentalists and concert soloists for the performance will be a vocal consort of local students.

The project will also incorporate a masterclass on 17th Century English song both for the young singers participating and those in our partner networks with the Oxfordshire County Music Service.
