Following on from their successful collaboration at the Cheltenham Festival, Chelys Consort of Viols and The Gesualdo Six join forces again to make a recording celebrating the life and work of Orlando Gibbons. The album will feature both sacred and secular pieces by Gibbons, three new commissions inspired by his works, and works by his family and contemporaries.
