Centred on a professional staging of Handel’s Imeneo, CHOC’s production is an ambitious, inclusive initiative that places young people at the heart of opera creation and performance. The project invites young participants to explore opera from the inside out through workshops, professional mentoring, and hands-on experience.

By embedding our education programme throughout the production process, we are offering a tangible experience in professional-level opera - from performance to production roles. Our project will provide high level engagement for young people, and opportunity for professional singers and players, maintaining our core aim of giving persuasive and historically inspired performances.
