A project initiative of Baroque In The North, Baroque & Beyond events are designed to improve accessibility to live music. But they also bring communities together by performing live music in venues at the heart of rural communities in the North West. Each Baroque & Beyond event consists of an hour of music followed by tea and cake with the performers. Held in daylight hours, at weekends, they are suitable for all ages, accessible, and include informal spoken introductions to each piece played. We always try to have an area where children can dance or draw.
