'Messiah' Reimagined is the London Handel Festival’s creative response to the past year of lockdown. We present our innovative performance of Handel’s masterpiece on Monday 5 April. The London Handel Orchestra and soloists will perform live in Handel’s church under the direction of Laurence Cummings.

The choruses have been pre-recorded by 15 separate choral partners, with over 500 singers taking part from across five continents whose virtual voices will be integrated digitally into the overall performance. The whole event will be live-streamed free across Facebook and YouTube. Our inaugural presentation of the work on 3 December 2020 has been viewed by 260,000 worldwide.
