La Nuova Musica will deliver an ambitious programme tracing Mozart’s symphonic development from the baroque inspired first symphony to the last fully developed Jupiter Symphony, via the Rococo 29th and the 3rd violin concerto. Renowned violinist Rachel Podger will lead LNM instrumentalists, directed by David Bates, in a concert on 26th July at St John Smith’s Square, which will be reprised in November at the Bath MozartFest. The performance will be recorded as live and subsequently streamed via OnJam over two nights with intros and Q and A sessions topping and tailing the broadcasts to attract and engage a wider audience.
