The Midwinter Gala Concert opens our third season of concerts at St Columb's Hall in Derry. Last year’s event was played to a capacity audience from across the socio-economic spectrum of the city who wouldn’t otherwise have had the opportunity to experience baroque music in their home town. This year, we plan to celebrate the 340th anniversary of the birth of J.S Bach with a performance of his Brandenburg concertos 2, 4 and 5, a dazzling treasure trove of virtuosic brilliance with soloist and our principal keyboardist, Malcolm Proud.
